I know that this is a series about the sisters, and I’m so glad that we get to see more of this family because I think it’s going to be entertaining AF. Personally, it didn’t bother me, so I hope that it doesn’t deter you from this lovely book. Warning, the language can be a bit crude at times, not a lot, but occasionally during some of the steamier scenes. This book is so inclusive in so many ways and I’m here for it! I also love that it normalizes women in STEM, interracial relationships, and therapy for mental health.
Not only is this a sweet and witty romance, but the book also touches on body positivity, mental health, and illustrates what it is like living with chronic pain on a daily basis, both the misconceptions and the realities. I just loved the banter between Chloe and Red, which had me chuckling or emitting unladylike snorts as I read it, particularly their emails. This was such a fun and sweet book! It is the perfect combination of sweet, sexy, hot, and heartfelt. He loved Chloe like tearing through the night on his Triumph, feeling alive in motion when he couldn’t feel alive inside. He loved Chloe like a blank canvas and a finished piece and all the exhilarating, painful, stop-and-start moments in between. And what really lies beneath his rough exterior… And why he never shows his art to anyone. Like why he clearly resents Chloe’s wealthy background. Just the teeniest, tiniest bit.īut when she enlists Red in her mission to rebel, she learns things about him that no spy session could teach her. He’s also an artist who paints at night and hides his work in the light of day, which Chloe knows because she spies on him occasionally. Redford ‘Red’ Morgan is a handyman with tattoos, a motorcycle, and more sex appeal than ten-thousand Hollywood heartthrobs.
